The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of artist's frame. All elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. There is minor rubbing and some superficial hairline abrasions in places to the lower third of the canvas. There is a minor accretion to the lower right vertical turnover edge of the artist's frame. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the works appears to be in generally very good condition.
