The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. The reverse is covered by the artist’s original cardboard backboard. The extreme edges are covered by black tape which has some minor lifting in places. There is some minor canvas draw and one pinpoint paint loss to the upper right corner. There are some pinpoint losses to the lower right extreme corner. When examined under ultraviolet light there are a few spots that fluoresce but not in a manner consistent with retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
