The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There is a faint hairline abrasion to the lower left quadrant measuring approximately 3 inches in length. There is some rubbing to the upper left vertical edge. The extreme edges of the canvas are irregular in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there is no indication of any inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
