The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There are a few firing cracks in places. There are a few pinpoint losses along the lower edge, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there appear to be two minor areas to the upper edge that fluoresce in a manner consistent with previous restoration. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
