The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places along the upper edges to the window mount. The hinges have left a faint impression to the extreme upper corners. There is some slight discolouration to the extreme edges. There are soft creases throughout, the largest measuring approximately 2¹⁄₂in. to the upper centre. There is a small tear to the upper right edge which is covered by the mount. There is some pinpoint foxing in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view the work appears to be in generally good condition.
