The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of artist's frame. The work is structurally sound. All collage elements adhere well to their underlying support. There is some minor lifting in places to the edges of the collage elements. There are a few handling marks and minor accretions in places, predominantly to the left vertical edge, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
