The canvas is unstretched. The canvas undulates slightly, presumably a result of previous packing. There are a few pinpoint accretions in places, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There are a few minute tension cracks to the extreme vertical edges. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
