The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in places on the reverse to its underlying support. The left vertical and lower horizontal edges are deckled. There is some minor lifting to the upper corners. There are a few minor creases in places, most notably to the vertical edges and extreme corners. There is minor fading to the ink, watercolour and chalk elements. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
