The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged on the reverse to its underlying support. The upper horizontal and right vertical edges are deckled. There is some minor discoloration to the extreme edges. There are a few minor creases in places, most notably to the centre and lower right corner. There are three pinpoint accretions to the upper half. There is a hinge visible with an associated horizontal crease to the lower right corner, presumably a result of previous restoration. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
