The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. There is minor rubbing to the extreme lower horizontal edge and a very faint handling mark to the upper right vertical edge, only visible under strong raking light. There is a faint vertical linear accretion to the right edge. There are three pinpoint paint losses to the extreme lower horizontal and right vertical edge. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
