拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. All collage elements appear to be present and adhere well to their underlying support. There are minor tension cracks and minor rubbing in places to the extreme edges. There are two superficial hairline abrasions to the lower left corner and two small hairline cracks, approximately 1.5cm. in length to the centre black passage. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
