The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is a backing sheet present. There is minor rubbing to the upper corners. There are some surface irregularities in places, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be a few hairline areas to the left centre that fluoresce in a manner consistent with inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
