The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing in places, most notably to the centre left, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
