The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor rubbing to the extreme corners and to the centre left vertical edge. There are a few minor tension cracks to the extreme vertical and upper horizontal turnover edges. When examined under ultraviolet light, there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
