The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are minor canvas draws to the upper corners. There is a pinpoint fibrous accretion to the right of the central figure and a few pinpoint accretions to the lower horizontal edge. There is a minor paint loss to upper left quadrant to the red passage. When examined under ultraviolet light there appears to be no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
