The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are a few minor handling marks in places, most notably to the extreme edges. There are a few pinpoint tears to the joining edges of the pages, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There is a minor loss to the extreme upper left corner. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in very good condition.
