Canvas is slightly slack. There is light staining over the surface of the work, particularly apparent in the white areas of the composition and along the top side of the work. There is one pressure indentation in the upper right corner of the work and two small raised marks in the lower right corner. There are light dirt marks in the upper right corner. Abrasions are visible on the turning corners on the left side. Light colored scratches are visible in the lower left and upper right corners. When examined under ultraviolet light, no inpainting is apparent.
