The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Tape is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Fine tension cracking and tiny losses are intermittently to the turning edges. Stable horizontal craquelure, drying cracks, and radial cracks are scattered. Pinpoint accretions and minute losses are occasional. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, small passages of inpainting with minor discoloration are scattered.
