The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Faint rubbing, with a few associated small transfer marks, is occasionally to the corners and extreme edges. Tiny spots of stray media are occasionally, presumably studio-related. A few passages of fine hairline and nascent cracking are occasionally to the cream painted passage. A few tiny drip accretions and short, faint surface scuffs are occasionally. Visible under ultraviolet light, a few small passages of inpainting are to the cream painted passage.
