The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners, center upper edge and center vertical edges to the backing board and undulates slightly. The sheet is slightly irregular in shape, presumably in keeping with the artist's choice of support. Minor wear is to the edges and corners. There is faint surface soiling visible occasionally to the edges, and a faint handling mark is below the center left edge. A small spot of faint discoloration is near the center lower edge. A few pinpoint spots of foxing are visible occasionally, most notably to the left edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
