The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack. Very minor wear is to the corner-tips and turning edges. Visible under close inspection, a fine hairline crack is to the center lower extreme edge in a dark purple painted passage. Another fine hairline crack is to the lower right quadrant near the figure's rightmost shoulder in a dark purple painted passage. A linear abrasion is below center just below the figure's chin in a dark purple painted passage. Two pinpoint accretions are to the figure's leftmost shoulder in a dark blue painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
