The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges and undulates slightly. Faint creases and artist's pinholes are to the corner-tips and soft creases are along the left edge. Processing marks, handling marks and fine surface scuffs are occasional, all presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
