The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and along the edges and undulates slightly. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and extreme edges and has shifted slightly in tone. Faint handling marks are occasional, most notably to the edges and handling indents are also to the edges, only visible under raking light. Two faint creases are to the upper left quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
