The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear, slight rubbing and hairline tension cracking is to the turning edges. Drying cracks, scuffs, handling marks, fine nascent cracks and networks of hairline cracks are to the lower register of the canvas. A few fine abrasions are to the lower right corner in a blacked painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
