The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Wear, rubbing, surface scratches, scuffs and a few losses are scattered to the frames. Minor wear, creasing, handling marks, handling indents, a few small tears and rubbing are occasional to the sheets. The sheets have shifted in tone. A small spot of skinning is to the lower right corner of the sheet with the figure frowning in the brown frame. Drying cracks are to the right edge in a white painted passage to the image with the jug and a fibrous accretion is to the lower left corner. Artist's pinholes are to the center right edge, lower right corner and center left edge of the image with the figure smiling. A small loss is to the center lower extreme edge of the sheet with the figure frowning with words below. Three staples are visible to the upper edge and a pinpoint protrusion is to the upper right corner of the image with the figure towards the bottom half of the sheet. Visible under close inspection, two pinpoint drip accretions are to the upper right edge of the found photograph image. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
