The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The side edges of the painting are on the face of the painting in some places. Very fine hairline cracking is to the turning edges with a few fine hairline cracks to the extreme edges. Stretcher bar impressions with associated cracking is to the upper and lower thirds of the canvas. A small impact crack is to the lower left corner, and another is to the upper edge at center. A hairline abrasion is to the center right edge, possibly a vestige of the artist's studio practice. Only visible under close inspection and raking light, a faint hairline abrasion is to the upper left corner. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
