The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. Stable hairline cracks are occasionally to the extreme edges. Drying cracks are visible, in keeping with the artist's working method. Pinpoint losses and soft scuffs are infrequent. Visible under ultraviolet light, minute spots of inpainting are infrequently to the upper edge.
