The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged periodically at the upper edge to the backing board, and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are deckled, and a tiny loss is near the center upper edge. Stable drying cracks are occasionally to the thicker gouache passages. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
