The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Wear and pinpoint losses are to the corner-tips and turning edges. Hairline and drying cracks are scattered. A few tiny losses are occasional and a few hairline cracks, some with slight yet stable lifting, are to the figure's face. Two fibrous accretions are to the upper right quadrant within the brown painted passage of the figure's hair. Visible under raking light, a fine hairline crack is to the lower right corner in a gray painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
