The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the upper edge. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Artist's pinholes with associated wear are to the corner-tips. Minor wear and creasing is to the corner-tips and edges. A small loss is to the upper left corner and another, with an associated faint tear, is to the center lower edge. A tiny tear is to the left center edge and another one is directly to the right. A pinpoint drip accretion is to the upper bridge of the figure's nose. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
