The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slack and undulates. Minor wear is to the upper corner-tips and two tiny linear abrasions are to the upper right edge in a white painted passage. Faint stretcher bar impressions are to the upper and lower edges. Pinpoint accretions are occasional. Very slight lifting is to the upper right corner in white painted passages that appears to be stable. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
