The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Work on paper
The upper edge is deckled. Pinholes are to the corners and center vertical edges, presumably a vestige of the artist's process and choice of installation. Several creases are visible occasionally, presumably due to the artist's choice of support. A faint abraded accretion is to the right upper edge, and a small tear is to the left upper edge. A minute accretion and a few pinpoint losses are to the lower right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
Sculpture
The work is structurally sound and all elements are present. Several small pieces of paper pulp are loose, and a few small spots of discoloration are visible occasionally to the paper pulp elements, presumably due to the artist's choice of material. The intermittent fine scratches and small spots of rust, wear and discoloration are all presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
