The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The side edges of the canvas are covered by a wooden strip-frame. A faint layer of surface dust is present. Faint rubbing is to the corner tips. Pinpoint accretions are infrequently to the red painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
