The sheet is hinged at the four corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. Artist pinholes are visible at the corners. Minor wear is scattered to the edges. Under raking light a few soft handling indents are scattered, and there is a small tear at the upper right edge, all presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
