A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear is to the corner tips and turning edges. A fine layer of surface dust and some pieces of paper accretions are present, most notably to the lower left corner. A few hairline abrasions and drip accretions are occasional, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. Stretcher bar impressions are visible to the extreme edges in places. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
