The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has not been examined outside of its frame. The sheet is hinged to the backing board and the hinges are visible periodically along the edges. The sheet undulates slightly and there are associated soft creases to the edges and corner tips. Two minute abrasions are to the upper edge. Under ultraviolet light, areas of inpainting are visible in the lower left margin, in the lower margin at center, and one small spot in the lower right quadrant. A possible repair is to the lower left corner in the margin.
