The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear, rubbing and fine hairline tension cracking is to the corner-tips and turning edges. A small area of discoloration is to the upper left quadrant in a white painted passage and a few pinpoint accretions and scuffs are occasional. Fine hairline cracks, some with associated tiny losses, and nascent cracks are scattered. A pinpoint loss is to the upper left quadrant in a white painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
