The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack, and very faint stretcher bar impressions are visible under raking light. Fine tension cracking, soft surface scuffs and a few pinpoint losses are to the corner tips and extreme edges. Visible under close inspection, hairline drying cracks are scattered, most notably near the edges. Two small vertical hairline cracks are to the blue painted passage in the upper right quadrant, and three tiny hairline cracks are to the yellow passage just below center. Pinpoint accretions are infrequently to the white painted passages. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
