The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Minor wear and slight rubbing is to the corner-tips and turning edges. A pinpoint loss is above center in a light green painted passage. Visible under close inspection, drying cracks are to the left of center in a dark blue painted passage. Also visible under close inspection, a fine linear abrasion is to the lower right quadrant in a maroon painted passage and another is below center near the center lower edge in a brown painted passage. Visible under ultraviolet light, a few pinpoint accretions are scattered, most notably left of center in a dark blue painted passage and to the lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
