The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner tips and undulated slightly. The upper edge of the sheet is deckled. A few handling indents are scattered to the extreme edges, most notably to the lower edge. A faint horizontal soft crease is to the left edge. A very faint hairline abrasion is to the top of the figure's head, only visible under close inspection and raking light. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
