The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structrually sound. General wear and small losses are to the corner-tips and edges. A few fine hairline cracks are occasional, most notably to the upper edge. Hairline cracks, some with slight lifting, and losses are to the interior edges and corner-tips of the wood door, most notably to the lower edge of the jacket. Drying cracks are intermittent. Visible under ultraviolet light, a small drip accretion fluoresces to the upper left quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
