The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A fine layer of surface dust is present. Minor wear, rubbing and scuffs, some with associated loss, are occasional to the corner-tips and turning edges. A small hairline crack is near the center upper edge in a red painted passage. Visible under close inspection, fine surface scratches are intermittent, most notably to the red painted passage. A few pinpoint accretions and handling marks are occasional. A tiny abrasion is to the lower right corner in a green painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
