The work has not been examined outside of its frame. Minor wear is the gold frame edges. The work is nailed onto the mat at the four corners and vestiges of the nails are visible. Minor wear is to the corner tips and extreme edges with a few associated losses to lower left corner and upper edge. Dust is scattered to the surface. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
