The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Minor wear and faint frame rubs are to the corner tips and turning edges. A few pinpoint losses are to the central figure's head, and another small loss is to the lower right corner. A small fly speck is near the right edge and a few faint pinpoint accretions are to the lower left corner near the signature. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
