The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and undulates slightly. Artist's pinholes are to the corner-tips. Handling indents and hairline creases are occasional to the sheet, most notably to the edges. A small area of skinning is to the lower left corner, likely in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
