The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A possible varnish layer is present. Stretcher bar impressions and wear are along the edges. Faint handling marks are to the lower edge in the white passage. A pinpoint brown accretion is to the lower left edge, and two faint rubs are to the upper left quadrant. A small hairline crack is to the lower right quadrant in the yellow passage, and another hairline crack is to the white passage near the right edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
