The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A fine layer of surface dust is present and a varnish layer is present. Minor wear, faint scuffs and tiny losses are occasional to the corner-tips and edges, and a few tiny losses are to the side edges of the wood. Visible under close inspection and raking light, faint scuffs and linear abrasions with associated varnish loss are scattered, most notably to the lower half of the work. A few pinpoint accretions are infrequent. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
