A fine layer of surface dust and an artist’s varnish layer are present. Minor wear, scuffs, rubs and a few tiny losses are to the corner-tips and turning edges. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a few linear abrasions are occasional, most notably to the lower right corner and near the upper register. A few faint rubs are near the lower edge. Visible under ultraviolet light, two scratches fluoresce darkly above center.
