Conservation tape covers the side edges of the panel. A fine layer of surface dust is present. The sheets have shifted slightly in tone. Wear with associated tears is to the corner tips and turning edges. Hairline tears, creases and handling indents are occasional, most notably to the extreme edges, in keeping with the artist's working method. A few shiny accretions are to the upper left edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
