This work has not been examined outside its frame, which is attached with nails to a strainer and the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. Hairline cracks and a few minute losses are occasionally near and to the turning edges. A pinpoint accretion is to the upper right quadrant at the edge of a black passage, and a few small brownish accretions are near the center lower edge. Under ultraviolet light, small drip accretions fluoresce occasionally. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
